Questions
Is VoyageBox free?
Yes. Temporary addresses are free and don't need an account. Saving addresses needs a free account.
How long does an address last?
24 hours. After that the address and all its mail are deleted for good. If you want to keep an address, save it.
Can I send email from my address?
No. VoyageBox addresses are receive-only, which keeps the service from being used for spam.
My email hasn't arrived. What can I do?
Most mail arrives within seconds, but some senders take a few minutes. Check that you typed the address exactly. Some websites block temporary email addresses; if a site won't accept the address, it's that site's choice.
Can other people read my inbox?
No. An inbox can only be opened from the browser or account that created it. Addresses are random and are never given to anyone else, even after they expire.
Should I use it for important accounts?
No. Once a temporary address expires you can't receive password resets or other important mail. Use it for sign-ups you don't care about, or save the address.
Are attachments supported?
No. Attachments are not stored, which keeps you safe from harmful files.
Is it safe to open emails here?
Scripts in emails never run, and images stay off until you choose to load them, so senders can't see when you open their mail. Be careful with links, though: clicking one takes you to the sender's website.
